Since the first PrideFest in 2016, Croydon Council has remained committed to supporting and growing Croydon PrideFest which has quickly become one of Croydon’s flagship events. Croydon Council has proved to be a great LGBT+ ally and we are eternally grateful for their support.
For many years, LGBT+ people have faced hiding their true selves from their colleagues. Today, while prejudice is still rife in many places, many companies and organisations have embraced their LGBT+ members of staff. Studies have shown that employers who recognise and support diversity are on average more productive and profitable.
