Danny Beard

Drag artist, broadcaster and performer Danny Beard is the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 4. Danny broke records as the first bearded queen to appear on the show. A self-proclaimed ‘shady, singing, cartoon clown’, Danny is a singer and performer with unique flair and humour. Danny hosts a weekly LGBTQ+ podcast, The Gossip Gays, where they and their co-star give us a run down on the weeks news and gossip, as well as turning agony aunt with hilarious consequences. Since winning DRUK, Danny has travelled the country performing their own solo show to sold out theatres with their five piece band. The band is also joining Danny at a host of Pride shows where Danny is headlining and hosting. Prior to Drag Race, Danny was a semi-finalist on Britain’s Got Talent proving their performing prowess. Danny was personally invited by Graham Norton to perform at his Just for Laughs London Variety show. They also joined the other queens of Drag Race UK series 4 for a UK tour as well as performing all over Australia with Klub Kids. A queen of many talents, this year Danny flexed their acting muscles on the small screen - guest starring in Hollyoaks. Danny was also a key part of Eurovision 2023 - returning to their Liverpudlian roots - to perform with their band.
