The team behind Croydon PrideFest are committed to ensuring that the event takes place with minimal disruption to park users and the local community. We welcome your feedback from 2019’s event and on the operational plans for the 2022 event. As you will remember, the Pride Parade follows a route through the centre of Croydon, across the bridge and into the park, and we arrange for the trams to be stopped for a short time to allow everyone to get across safely.
One thing that is different for 2022, is that Croydon Mela, which normally takes place on the Sunday after PrideFest will not be held this year, so we will begin the dismantling of the event arena on that day instead.
> Community Meeting
The next Community Consultation session will take place in the Wandle Park Café, Tuesday 10 May at 6pm.
